ЮНЕСКО-ийн Ерөнхий ассемблейн XXII чуулганы хуралдаанаар 1983 онд жил бүрийн дөрөвдүгээр сарын 18-ныг “Хөшөө дурсгал, дурсгалт газрын олон улсын өдөр” болгон тэмдэглэх шийдвэр гарчээ. Тэр цагаас хойш дэлхийн улс орнууд энэ өдрийг нэгдсэн хэлбэрээр тэмдэглэсээр иржээ.

Хөшөө дурсгал бол тухайн хүн, түүхэн үйл явдлыг байнга санан дурсаж буй баталгаа, хүндэтгэн дээдэлж буйн илрэл юм. Нөгөө талаас тухайн улс орон, бүс нутгийн соёл урлаг, амьдрахуйн хэвшил, оюун сэтгэлгээний хөгжлийн илэрхийлэл билээ.

Хөшөө бүр өөрийн гэсэн түүхтэй байдаг билээ.

“Хөшөө дурсгалаа хамгаалах” дэлхийн өдрийг тохиолдуулан аймгийн Музейн хамт олон Орхон сумын Соёлын Төвтэй хамтран 2018 онд босгосон морь барианы газрын морины хөшөөний ойр орчмын хогийг цэвэрлэн, анхан шатны хэмжээнд угааж өнгөлж сайжруулжээ.

Мөн Музейн ажилтнууд тус сумын ЕБС-ын дунд сургуулийн сурагчдад “Түүх, Соёлын Үл хөдлөх дурсгалын тухай” болон “Соёлын баримтат өв, түүний төрөл, хадгалалт хамгаалалт”-ын талаар танилцуулга хичээл орсон байна.
