Жил бүрийн 5-18-ны өдөр тохиодог ОУ-ын Музейн өдөр нь тодорхой сэдвийн дор зохион байгуулагддаг. Энэ жил “МУЗЕЙН ТОГТВОРТОЙ БАЙДАЛ БА САЙН САЙХНЫ ТӨЛӨӨ” уриан дор зохион байгуулагдана.
Музей нь соёлын солилцоог өрнүүлэх, соёлыг баяжуулах, хүмүүс хоорондын харилцан ойлголцол, хамтын ажиллагааг хөгжүүлж, энхтайвныг тогтооход Музей чухал үүрэгтэй болохыг нийгэмд таниулахад Олон Улсын Музейн өдрийн үндсэн зорилго оршдог.
Иймээс Дархан-Уул аймгийн Музей нь энэ өдрийг угтан олон нийтийн соёлын боловсролд хувь нэмэр оруулах зорилгоор 7 хоногийн төлөвлөгөөт ажлыг зохион байгуулна. Үүнд: Их, дээд сургуулийн оюутан, багш нарт зориулан гэрэл зургийн нүүдлийн үзэсгэлэн, “Дэлхийн сонин хачин Музейнүүдийн тухай”лекц, Музейн байгалийн танхимыг түшиглэн ЕБС-ийн сурагчдад “Уур амьсгалын өөрчлөлт” сургалт, Музейн гадна талбайд “Ёндоо” өртөө, “Зураач” өртөө, “Хорол” өртөө, зорилтот бүлгийн иргэдийн “Худалдаачин” өртөөг тус тус зохион байгуулахаар бэлтгэл ажлыг ханган ажиллаж байна.
