Нийтээр тэмдэглэх болон тэмдэглэлт өдрүүдийн тухай хууль, Монгол Улсын Ерөнхийлөгчийн 2012 оны 158 дугаар зарлигийн хүрээнд “Үндэсний бичиг соёл, номын өдрүүд”-ийг Дархан хотын номын баяр- НОМТОЙ МОНГОЛ уриан дор эхэллээ.
Нээлтэд аймгийн Засаг даргын Тамгын газрын Нийгмийн бодлогын хэлтсийн мэргэжилтэн Л.Буянхишиг, Соёл, урлагийн газрын дарга Х.Соёл-Эрдэнэ, Төв номын сангийн захирал Б.Цэцэгсүрэн, Хүүхдийн номын ордны захирал Л.Мөнхбаатар, Төрт ёс, хаадын сан Монголын утга зохиол судлалын төвийн тэргүүн Д.Гүн-Үйлс нар оролцов.
Номын баярыг 9 дүгээр сарын 17-ныг хүртэлх аймгийн Төв номын сан , Хүүхдийн номын ордон, Сумдын номын сангууд маань өөрийн байгууллагад үргэлжлүүлэн тус баярын үйл ажиллагааг зохион байгуулах юм.
Анх 1950 оноос “Хуучин номын худалдаа”, 1955 оноос “Хүүхдийн номын зах”, 1990 оноос ”Номын баяр”, “Номын үзэсгэлэн’, 1999 оноос “Номын яармаг”, 2000 оноос “Бичиг соёлын хишиг өдөр”, 2012 оноос “Номын баярын өдөр”, 2022 оноос Нийтээр тэмдэглэх баярын болон тэмдэглэлт өдрүүдийн тухай хуульд заасны дагуу “Үндэсний бичиг соёл, номын өдрүүд” хэмээн өргөжин хүрээгээ тэлж номыг бүтээдэг, дээдлэн хүндэлдэг, номд дуртай хэн бүхний хүсэн хүлээдэг БАЯР болон өргөжсөн байна.
